New Jersey natives, Briana & Dan wanted to plan a wedding that felt like a destination weekend for their friends and family. On a sunny day in June, these two were married in Shelter Island, New York at The Ram’s Head Inn. The trek to Shelter Island really lends to that destination feel, as most of their wedding guests had to take an airplane, car, and ferry to get onto this secluded little paradise. Always down for a trek and more Rams Head Inn weddings!

We took to the quiet causeway for some portraits. The ocean breeze was pretty wild, but Briana’s free spirited nature leaned into it, embracing the wind. Her Liz Martinez dress from Spina Bridal couldn’t have been more perfect!

Briana & Dan wanted to have a quiet moment together before they walked down the aisle, so they rented a boat and had a quick toast with the stillness of the ocean.

Surrounded by their closest friends and family — Briana & Dan were married by the sea.

After a few toasts and speeches at cocktail hour, we headed back to the causeway for sunset. The light was perfect!
