In our little family, Fall is collectively our favorite season. We’re those people who love cinnamon brooms a little too much and who will vehemently defend candy corn. (Listen… they make organic candy corn and I swear it’s better than the other stuff!) Halloween is just one of our favorite holidays ever. (I still pride myself on Derrek’s Freddy Krueger makeup that I did on the fly a while back.)

When Jordan + Barry told us about their unique, Halloween wedding inspiration, we were so giddy to have the opportunity to photograph their wedding day. Jordan + Barry are Jacksonville natives, like Derrek and myself. These two opted for a destination wedding weekend filled with camping, tubing, and bonfires with friends. Their wedding date was even Friday, October 13th. Coincidence? Jordan + Barry were married at Camp Pinnacle in Flat Rock, North Carolina. A little fun fact, Camp Pinnacle was the back drop to the film, Heavyweights. #ashevilleelopementphotographer
