Jordan + Barry were a trip, you guys! These two definitely know how to throw a party. What better time to do so then Halloween?! Halloween is easily one of our favorite holidays. Halloween’s origins can be dated back to an ancient Celtic festival called Samhain. The Celts lived about two thousand years ago in the area that is now known as Ireland, the United Kingdom, and northern France. The Celts would celebrate their new year on November 1st. This date would mark the end of not only summer, but also the harvest. This would mark the beginning of a cold, hard winter. The Celts believed that on this night the worlds of the living and of the dead would become blurred. On the night of the 31st, they would celebrate the return of the ghosts from the dead. During the celebrations, the Celts wore costumes mostly consisting of animal heads and skin! Jordan and Barry were married at Camp Pinnacle in Asheville, North Carolina. A little fun fact, Camp Pinnacle was the back drop to the film, Heavyweights. #camppinnaclewedding
