We love summer weddings in New York. They give us a chance to escape the scorching heat of Florida while photographing really awesome couples! Cayla and Thomas were married in Chappaqua, New York at The Crabtree’s Kittle House. From the tangerine escort cards to their stunning, colorful florals that Tatiana with Whimsy Weddings designed and created, we really loved all of their wedding details. (Talk about multi talented!? Wedding design, coordinating, and floral design? I can’t sing Tatiana’s praises enough. She’s hands down one of our favorites!) 

One of my favorite parts from their wedding day was during their ceremony. Their friend and officiant (Thanks Universal Life Church!) took them through multiple traditions from other cultures around the world, like breaking plates, sawing wood, and planting a tree together. I always love when couples chose to do something really unique and meaningful. We’re so excited to see their vibrant, garden inspired wedding featured on Wedding Chicks. #crabtreeskittlehousewedding
