Though, Casey and Ross are local to New York City. These two opted for a weekend getaway to the Hamptons with their friends and family. Casey and Ross were married at Sole East in Montauk, New York. Here’s some advice for planning a destination wedding from Casey, “One of the first things we decided was that we wanted everyone to stay in close proximity, preferably at the same hotel,” says Casey of their room block. “We think of weddings like reunions of old friends and family. Our experience has been that when people are scattered across multiple hotels, you lose part of the communal vibe and energy. We didn’t want people to have to go out of their way to find each other. Instead we hoped that guests could walk out of their rooms and immediately bump into people they knew in the hallway or hanging around the pool.”
